For white and light colored caps - the logo is sublimated onto the hat meaning that it dyes the fabric so it will never crack, peel or fade. Keep in mind that sublimation ink is semi-transparent so on lighter shade the color of the hat may show. 

For dark colored hats - decorated with heat transfers rated to last 50+ washed.
